She’s Jack of all trades and the master of none
I love this saying. Justin told it to me the other day when we were reading something on the internet. To me, it can apply to quite a few people; both in real life and online. In this instance though, it was about a piece written by someone who obviously feels self important. I dont pretend to be someone that knows everything, and everyone has a niche in life…something they excel at. But many things? All the time? Even fewer.
I don’t mind if people are confident and show it with modesty and humility. Self confidence and ability go hand in hand and should be applauded; don’t get me wrong. But what I do despise are people who “fake it” or rely on others for their reputation. Steal someone else’s thunder, or just love the sound of their own voice. You can easily “blow your own trumpet” too much.
Back to the article and person in question. “Jack of all trades and master of none”. How apt. It is painfully obvious that their skills are hyped. That they have relied too long on others or just like to keep up a pretense. Why cant some people just be honest? Be modest. Be true? You earn far more respect that way, and don’t need to worry about appearance just for appearances sake.

Holy shit, I couldn’t have said it better myself. And trust me, I’ve TRIED, it just ended up coming out rather rude. O wait, perhaps I meant it to come out that way? LOL
I expect a detailed email about all this. Yanno I can NOT be left out of the loop on things like this.
